  • This PoE adapter works with the Dot 3rd out of the box and does not require our Dot 3rd built in mount BUT will not work with the Nest Mini or the Nest Hub (not Max) without the needed connector that comes with the built in mounts for those devices. 
  • PoE - Power over Ethernet - is the perfect power solution for homes or businesses with hard wired ethernet, new construction, remodeling or where an outlet is not near your 3rd generation voice assistant.
  • You will also need an Ethernet Switch with PoE Ports to inject the low-volt power into your ethernet cable where internet comes into the structure. These are around $50 and can be purchased on Amazon. We like the TP-Link TL-SG1005P.
